14 carat Gold Filled is a material in which a layer of 14 carat gold is mechanically bonded to a base metal, making it more durable and resistant to wear and tear than simple gold plating. This makes it an affordable and long-lasting alternative to solid gold jewelry.

Manufacture: Switzerland

Total length of the earrings: approx. 10.6 cm

Length of the gemstone row: approx. 2.4 cm

The earrings are delivered in a high-quality cotton gift bag.

Please note that due to the properties of the gemstone, each pair of earrings has its own individual look and each stone differs slightly from the others.

Your piece of jewelry tolerates water very well. However, you should make sure that it does not come into contact with shampoo, shower gel or perfume.

We create and manufacture the jewelry in our own studio in Basel. The fascinating variety of colors of gemstones and the preserved time they bring with them fascinates and inspires us to constantly create new designs and color combinations. In addition to the gemstones, we use high-quality metals such as 14 carat gold filled, 925 sterling silver, stainless steel and brass.

Cyanite

Kyanite, also known as disthene, is a fascinating and versatile gemstone prized for its striking blue color and unique physical properties. The name kyanite is derived from the Greek word "kyanos", which means "blue". However, the stone also occurs in other colors such as green, black and rarely even orange and colorless. It is particularly known for its highly anisotropic properties, which means that its hardness varies greatly depending on the crystal direction - in the longitudinal direction it is around 4.5 to 5 and in the transverse direction 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale.

Cyanite is often found in metamorphic rocks that have been exposed to high pressure and temperature conditions, such as schist and gneiss. Important locations are Brazil, the USA, Switzerland, Austria and Nepal.

In esotericism, kyanite is regarded as a stone that promotes communication and logical thinking and can release inner blockages. It is said to have a calming effect on its wearer and help to maintain balance and harmony. Cyanite is also used in jewelry making, especially because of its impressive color and unique shine, which makes every piece of jewelry a special highlight.
